  1. Vacuum: After opening the vacuum pump, it was found that the vacuum could not be reached. Due to the existence of thermal inertia, the actual water temperature is about 2 degrees higher than the set temperature, and the set value can be corrected when used. Temperature setting: Turn on the water bath pot, set the desired temperature, press the SET button, and the upper row displays SP.
  4. Rotate: Turn on the speed switch, adjust the knob to the optimal speed, and avoid the water vibration wave.
  5. Turn on the cooling water.
  6. Recovering the solvent: Turn off the vacuum pump, open the feed switch to deflate, and take out the solvent in the collection bottle.

  1. Prepare a white latex tube with a diameter of about 8 mm and a length of about 1500 mm. Also prepare a length of about 80 mm. The two latex tubes of the same size are used for vacuuming. Usually located below is the water inlet, above which is the water outlet. We use another hose to connect the outlet of the rotary evaporator. The other end of the hose is connected to the inlet of the cryogenic cooling circulation pump. (The inlet and outlet are usually marked). Open the filling port cover of the cryogenic coolant circulation pump and clean the cold well. The coolant is added to the cooling tank in a ratio of 1:1:1. Note that press the power button and then press the cooling button to lower the desired temperature and then cycle.
  4. Install the rotating bottle and fix it with a clip. If there is a splash-proof joint, first attach it to the rotating bottle, and pay attention to the interface with vacuum grease. Turn on the vacuum pump and start rotating after a certain vacuum.
  5. Adjust the height and rotation speed of the distillation flask and set the appropriate water bath heating temperature.
  6. Stop spinning after steaming, and then pass the atmosphere. Then stop the pump and finally remove the distillation flask.
  7. Stop the low temperature coolant circulating pump, stop the water bath heating, and turn off the pump circulating water. Pour out the solvent in the receiving bottle and wash the buffer ball and receiving bottle.
